VBall Lesson A: Three Men Block

This guide shows you how to execute a three men block for an attack from the outside by the opponents. 1. When the ball is on the opponent\'s side, the three front players should be ready to block by standing approx 1 foot away from the net. 2. As soon as it is apparent that the attack is coming from the outside (right-hand side in this amni), the outside front and middle front players move quickly to the right by side-stepping. The opposite player (player on the right) determines the edge of the block. 3. All the three players should be next together a close as possible and squad (knees almost 90 degrees) to perform for the jump. 4. By using the muscle in the upper and lower legs and the swing of the arms, a high jump/block can be achieved. 5. Remeber: timing and teamwork are essential here!
